FARGO – Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center received a grant from the Robert E. Herman Charitable Trust. Grant funds will enable staff to provide direct services to at-risk youth and help to recruit adult volunteers who mentor them. Specific tasks to be performed with grant funds include enrollment of youth and mentors, recruitment of volunteers, background checks, mentor training, mentor-youth matching, ongoing match support, and match closure.
